Currently, Melissa resides in Cornwall with her partner Andrew, their daughter Samantha, and son Dawson.

Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Prince Edward Island and a college diploma in Business, and has gained valuable experience working for both the Federal and Provincial governments in the past.
